Your Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, order necessary tests, and develop tailored care strategies.
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions, working independently or in cooperation with physicians as credentials allow.
• Provide education to patients and families on health maintenance, wellness strategies, and managing diseases.
• Prescribe medications and appropriate therapies within your practice scope.

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
• Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program.

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in California.
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to obtain within 90 days).
